Mine Supervisor Capricorn Copper Underground Queensland
Capricorn Copper is an operator of a world class QLD underground metalliferous asset which is now transitioning from care and maintenance to full production. Currently they require a Mine Supervisor for a permanent job opportunity.
Reporting into the Mine Manager you will oversee the management and supervision of a site based contractor whilst ensuring production operations are optimised. You will develop strong leadership strategies to coordinate day to day operations and ensure compliance standards.
What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role you will have a proven background within management and have a high level of understanding and experience working within a metalliferous mining environment. A background as a Foreman or Shift Boss is highly advantageous as the role requires you to have a thorough grasp of underground metalliferous operations. You will have proven track record in mentoring and driving a team.
