Mechanical Trade Assistant Wacol site QLD. Mechanical Trades Assistant, On-Going Work
Multiquip Transport is a company that is totally dedicated to servicing the poultry industry in Australia. They are involved in all aspects transporting live birds from the breeder farms to the processing plant, transporting everything from eggs to grown birds. With hundreds of truck and trailers movements every day, Multiquip Transport knows how to get the job done.
The Role
Based in the workshop at Wacol site, your responsibilities will be assisting mechanics with servicing and preparing trucks, plant and equipment, performing minor repairs and maintenance including welding and fabrication, general maintenance and yard work.
About You
- Experience within a similar position
- Mechanical aptitude
- Heavy Vehicle license an advantage
- Forklift license
- Able to work without supervision
- Reliable self-starter
- Able to work Monday – Friday (7am-4pm)
Desirable: Welding experience
