Mechanical Fitter Mobile Fixed Plant Maintenance Blackwater-iMINCO.net Mining Information

Scotford & Fennessy are currently seeking the services of an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a permanent role with there client based in Blackwater.

Technical Requirements:

  • Trade qualified certificate in mechanical fitting
  • Demonstrated hands on experience in fixed plant maintenance, mobile equipment maintenance and control systems – desirable
  • Computer literate with Windows software, CMMS management an advantage
  • Forklift License
  • HR Truck license – desirable
  • Restricted electrical license – desirable
  • Project Management – desirable

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Time management skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize maintenance duties and offer support to operational sites
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety systems
  • Understands and applies quality control techniques
  • Good computer skills

The ideal candidate must be a strong team player and be happy to load/unload trucks with a forklift or assist in other areas as required. They are searching for someone who will bring great energy and enthusiasm to compliment the already strong team culture.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package of $50 p/h plus penalties and the opportunity to build a successful career with an established mining organization.
