Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Principal Engineer this position is responsible for providing engineering expertise to assist the operation with critical tasks, modifications and projects. You will be assisting with governance, control, design and maintenance of the Operations mechanical blue print (engineering standards, specifications and drawings).

The ideal candidate will need to bring a Degree in Mechanical Engineering together with significant heavy industry experience and detailed knowledge and practice in this area. A broad exposure to other disciplines is highly desired.

Electrical Engineer

Reporting to the Principal Engineer this position is responsible for providing engineering expertise to assist the operation with critical tasks, modifications and projects. You will be assisting with governance, control, design and maintenance of the Operations mechanical blue print (engineering standards, specifications and drawings).

Responsibilities include:

• Providing engineering and technical support during project delivery phases
• Ensuring deliverables comply with statuary legislation, standards, budgets and targets
• Adherence to change control and document management processes ensuring effective governance and accurate updates based on approved modifications
• Promoting high performance, coaching and enhancing technical knowledge of the team

The ideal candidate will need to bring a Degree in Electrical Engineering together with significant heavy industry experience and detailed knowledge and practice in this area. A broad exposure to other disciplines is highly desired.

Drafter Mechanical – Structural Drafter – Electrical Drafter

Reporting to the Principal Engineer these three positions are responsible for providing drafting expertise to assist the operation with critical tasks, modifications and projects. You will be assisting with governance, control, and maintenance of the Operations blue print engineering drawings, drawing management system and manuals.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing input into plans, budgets and targets
• Adherence to change control and document management processes ensuring effective governance and accurate updates based on approved modifications
• Ensuring all deliverables comply with statutory legislation and standards
• Maintaining personal conduct in line with company health, safety and environmental policies

The ideal candidates will need to bring:

• Cert IV in Engineering Drafting,
• Associate Diploma would be highly favorable.

In addition, you will need significant heavy industry experience with detailed field/construction practice and general knowledge of related disciplines. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders focusing on continuous improvement.
