Mine Process Technician – Plant Crushing Operators

The Lorena Gold Project is located about 15km east of Cloncurry in Northwest Queensland and will produce about 30,000 ounces of gold from the Lorena Gold Project.

The project will be using a mobile CIL (Carbon-In-Leach) plant which is currently being commissioned to treat gold concentrate and tailings.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Process Plant/Crushing Operators will be responsible for the monitoring and maintaining the machines and equipment used to produce gold, the machinery and equipment used in these processes will be controlled by computers and it is the responsibility of process plant operators to set the controls and observe gauges and other instrumentation to monitor progress and check for malfunctions, leaks and other faults.

• Process Plant/ Crushing Operators will also be responsible crushing, grinding and consolidation, safe reagent storage, disposal of tailing and general maintenance.

Skills and experience Process Plant/Crushing

• must have at least five years experience in gold processing
• must have a confined space/ work at heights/bobcat/ EWP and loader ticket
• must be prepared to train employees when required
• must be prepared to undertake a medical/D&T and undergo a Police Check

• Lorena Gold Project FIFO points are Carins and Townsville only
• Flghts and accommodation will be included
