About the role

The successful candidate will work a lifestyle roster of 7 days on 7 days off with a global mining giant. They will also have demonstrated experience working various mobile equipment, with mining experience being an advantage.

The role is residential or FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns, with accommodation and meals provided for FIFO workers. If you are located outside these areas you will be required to make your own way to one of these destinations.

The ideal person will have experience in repairing mobile and plant equipment along with a positive attitude which will see you complete this role in a safe and efficient manner. This role will require you to work both independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating a high standard of professional workmanship.

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role you will need;

  • Valid Manual Drivers License (C Class or higher)
  • Australian Trade Certificate – LV Mechanic
  • Ability to pass low risk Medical and Physical
  • Demonstrated experience on mobile equipment
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment
