They are currently partnering with leading organizations in the mining and transport services sector to source, recruit, hire, train, employ and transition Light Vehicle Mechanics into Heavy Diesel.
Upon completion of the 8-weeks training in Brisbane you will be required to work in the Mackay workshop. Training is due to start April/May 2018.
This is a unique program and a golden pathway for motivated and experienced car mechanics to achieve great earnings and break into the top tiers of the mining and transport industries.
Successful applications will need to demonstrate:
- A certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanic (minimum)
- Previous experience with dealer and/or independent workshops
- Strong employment stability
- Previous exposure to heavy machinery will highly regarded
- Electrical and hydraulic knowledge is highly advantageous
All applicants will be required to participate in a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and national police clearance.
