Mining Labourer – Field Work Australia

They are searching for someone who is physical fit, motivated with a responsible attitude. You must be able to work as a team member in a supportive environment with the ability to work away from home for extended periods (2-3 weeks).

Velseis is an Australian seismic exploration company providing a fully integrated range of seismic technologies. Velseis has built a reputation as the leading Australian contractor in this field.

At Velseis, people are out most valuable resource, with a healthy mix of operational experience & technical qualification in all divisions. They have a flat management structure with senior staff heavily involved at the operational level.

Applicants must:

• have good communication skills & be reliable
• be willing to undertake a pre-job medical & random drug alcohol screenings
• conduct work safely without harm to themselves, others, property and the environment
• have the right to work in Australia (work visa/permanent resident/Australian citizen)
• a current Australian Open Manual Drivers License (essential requirement for the role)
• Standard 11 Induction Training Surface Induction would be advantageous, the company can assist you through a mutual agreement to achieve this training if you do not currently hold this qualification.

You will need to successfully pass a Coal Board Medical which includes a Strength Assessment and drug screen.

A current Australia-wide police certificate, advanced driving competency, and First Aid/CPR would be advantageous. Previous experience in similar roles will be viewed favourably but not necessary.
