Atlas Iron’s record breaking iron ore production increases
Iron-ore miner Atlas Iron has lifted its production forecast and lowered its cost estimates for the full year, following record iron-ore shipments in the three months to September. MD Ken Brinsden said on Thursday the company had shipped record tonnage in the September quarter of 2012.

Woodside LNG revenue on the up
ASX-listed Woodside has reported record production and sales revenue for the third quarter ended September, as its Pluto liquefied natural gas (LNG) project continued to deliver. The company reported on Thursday that production volumes reached 26.5 million barrels of oil equivalent, a 32% increase on the previous three months.

Santos increases oil production
Oil and gas major Santos has reported increased production for the three months to September, with crude oil production reaching its highest level in four years. Third quarter production was 6% higher compared with the previous corresponding period and 4% higher than the June quarter, at 13.5 million barrels of oil equivalent.
