Intermodal Staffing specializes in providing staff to the Heavy Vehicle, Transport and Logistics industries. They are currently seeking experienced heavy vehicle mechanics and or service technicians to perform maintenance tasks on all types of truck trailers including semi and b double.

Maintenance includes regular preventative and scheduled ccand servicing, insurance work as well as minor and major refurbishments. Ideally candidates will be a heavy vehicle mechanic, trade qualified and have experience maintaining and replacing wheel bearings, brakes, checking lights, tyres, other trailer components and completing paperwork. Experience in Mild Steel MIG welding is an advantage but not mandatory.

Whilst these roles are casual to start they are ongoing with the potential to transfer to a permanent role. There customer is a large operator in the Transport sector with the workshop offering a professional state of the art environment. You must be available to work Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm and be able to work some overtime and on Saturdays when required.

You will be rewarded with excellent working conditions and rates. Attention to detail, a safe work ethic and good written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
