Field Based:

Base on clients mine site near Moranbah/Emerald, you will be assigned to a drill rig and will work alongside the rig crew in ensuring the smooth running of rigs and support equipment by maintaining the equipment on a day to day basis and troubleshooting/working through mechanical breakdowns.

REQUIREMENTS:

Rig Mechanics/ Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics / Drill Fitters

Heavy Vehicle Rig Diesel Fitter Mechanic Mining Drill FIFO Brisbane

  • Trade Qualified Diesel Fitters/ Heavy Vehicle Mechanics/ Plant Mechanics (Essential);
  • Demonstrated experience working in Drilling Rigs and associated plant & equipment (Essential);
  • Experience working with Hydraulics (Essential);
  • HR Truck License (Essential), HC/MC Truck License (Preferred);
  • S11 or GIQ inducted (Preferred);
  • Demonstrated experience working in remote areas and on a roster.
  • Candidates with previous Coal Mine Site Experience are highly regarded.
