Maintenance Diesel Fitters – Temp Contracts
Batchfire Resources Pty Ltd is an Australian private company that owns and operates the Callide thermal coal mine near Biloela in Central Queensland.
Callide Mine has significant recoverable coal reserves, long-term supply contracts and a growth trajectory to ensure its long-term future.
- Location: Callide Mine, Biloela, Central Queensland.

The mine utilizes drills, draglines, dozers, excavators, loaders, large truck fleets and coal handling facilities to produce for domestic and export customers.
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor on shift, your key result areas will include having self pride in your ability to work safely and act as an example to fellow peers on site.
These roles require people who have extensive experience in routine maintenance and fault finding on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.
The positions will appeal to people who are willing to work together as part of a team to accomplish the tasks at hand, whilst also trusted to work independently at times.
Personal attributes will include being accountable for your output and achievements, punctuality and always presenting fit for work.
Mandatory requirements:
- Trade qualification (Australian recognized)
- Australian C Class Driver License
- Able to pass a Coal Board Medical
Additional desirable attributes include:
- Standard 11 Induction Training Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Coal Board Medical
