Workshop / Mackay Surrounds HD Mechanic

The dedicated team at Mader QLD deliver first class service through their extensive knowledge and experience within the mining industry and having passion and pride in their daily work.
Mader QLD currently have an immediate position available for a HD Mechanic to join the team based in Paget.  As part of developing workshop team you have the opportunity to take ownership of your role utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to support clients working on a variety of equipment from civil to earthmoving.

The Role:

  • Optional 8, 10 or 12 hour days – with OT available, Monday to Friday
  • 6 monthly Bonus
  • company vehicle supplied

To be successful they require you to have:

  • Applicable HD Mechanic trade certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to work on your own
  • Forklift certificate (not essential but will be looked upon favourably)
  • High attention to detail and a strong approach to safety
