The client is currently seeking experienced HD Fitters for an immediate start. The role will be based on site, and will entail servicing and maintenance to heavy mobile plant equipment.

This construction project is in phase one of building a processing plant. Individuals who are interested in this position must possess a commitment to promoting a safe work environment and have a strong knowledge on various earthmoving machinery.

This will include trouble shooting, servicing and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment; excavators, loaders, rollers, trucks, buses, LV, generators, EWPs.

The roster will be a full time 4:1 permanent roster and FIFO will be from Perth only. Minimum duration of contract is 10 months for the suitable candidate.

The right candidates will need to have the following experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience (post apprenticeship) Heavy earthmoving machinery
  • FIFO experience
  • Working on loaders, trucks, diggers, bobcats.
  • Experience working in the construction, maintenance and mining industry

You will be required to hold the following:

  • Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • ‘C’ Class Drivers License (HR Desirable)
  • White Card
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • High Risk License
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong safety focus
  • 2 recent, contactable references

The successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening.
