Client is currently seeking HD Diesel Fitters to appoint as Field Service Technicians to their business.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment and ensure excellent customer service at all times. You will be responsible for a variety of work involving machine diagnosis and repairs as well as testing and adjusting of systems.

It is required that you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a HD Diesel Fitter
  • Relevant trade certificate – mobile plant mechanic
  • MR/HR licence is higly regarded
  • Have strong Komatsu mining machinery experience
  • Experience with dump trucks, loaders, excavators would be advantageous
  • Rio Tinto inductions preferred
  • Must have working right in Australia

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
