Heavy Dump Truck Operator Coal Mining Newcastle NSW
One of brand new civil clients has an exciting opportunity based on a mine site in Gloucester for experienced CAT 775 Dump Truck Operators. These are ONGOING roles!
Ideally, you have operated rigid dump trucks in excess of 50tonne payload. Please note: these are not entry level traineeship roles. You MUST have operating experience.
You will require:
- Current NSW Black Coal Board Medical or ability to pass
- RII’s or VOC’s on all gear operated or recognized prior learning
- Minimum of 12months operating experience
- Live or ability to relocate to within an hour of Gloucester
Excellent Flat Rates on offer & gain invaluable experience within an open cut coal mine.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
You can transfer your nationally recognised civil Excavator, Front End Loader or Dozer tickets only to RII Black Coal Competencies.
