The Client requires a heavy diesel fitter for works required in Stapylton. This position is workshop based with a focus on quality & efficiency . There will also be times where you will be required to work away from home, in this instance, all meals, accommodation & travel expenses are paid for including your travel time.
This position will become permanent based on your performance, once permanent you will be supplied with a company vehicle and fuel card for any on site or field call out work required.
Tasks include:
- Diagnosis & troubleshooting
- Component rebuild & replace
- Hydraulic repairs
- Engine & transmission rebuild & replace
- Full Powertrain
- Parts ordering
- Moving machinery around the yard as required
To be successful in your application your experience will be accompanied by:
- Trade Qualification
- White Card
- Current drivers licence
- Varied brand experience with a focus on CAT equipment – large Civil & Mining Equipment
- Current pre-employment medical highly regarded
- Previous workshop experience – Minimum 3 Years
- Post Trade Experience – 5 years
