HA Electricians Shutdown Mining Brisbane FIFO QLD
Techforce have recently partnered with a large multi disciplined contractor who due to ongoing growth, has an urgent requirement for HA Electricians to be based out of Brisbane on a FIFO basis. Working on a 3:1 roster or on a Shutdown / project basis you will join a dynamic team who are focused on delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
HA Electricians will be required to have the following;
- Previous Oil and Gas experience (onshore)
- Exposure working on high pressure gas compressor stations
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Carrying out QA and hazardous area checks
- H.V and L.V testing
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Tube fitting experience desirable but not essential
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Current Electrical License
- Confined Space within 2 years
- Valid Hazardous Areas Ticket
- CPR and LVR (renewed within 1 year)
- Gas Testing Training
- Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol screen

Caterpillar Haul truck 777
The Caterpillar 777 is a 100-ton haul truck, typically used in open pit mining, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. The first model of Caterpillar 777 was introduced in 1974. Its diesel engine is capable of putting out 870 horsepower. The 777D, introduced in 1996, was powered by a 938-horsepower diesel.
This truck is one of the entry-level haul trucks most new operators will learn on. Once competent, they will move up to the larger 785, especially when working on a coal mining site.
