WorkPac Mount Isa are seeking experienced and qualified Fixed Plant Fitters for a 6 weeks shutdown at a local Mount Isa mine site commencing early March 2018.

Flights from Townsville, Accommodation and Meals included. There will be 1-2 weeks worth of training prior to the shutdown. All shifts worked will be 12 hrs, pay rate is $45/hr flat rate (same rate for days & nights).

To apply, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant Mechanical Fitter qualification and experience.
  • Ability to pass mining pre-employment medical and inductions.
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights, both completed within the last 2 years.
  • Be physically fit & capable of working in extreme heat conditions.
  • Be reliable, proactive and hard working.
