Commencing immediately and based at their Henderson workshop, they are seeking various highly-skilled team members to assist with a Marine/Defense project. Recognized Nationally and Internationally, client is a high-quality service provider to Marine, Defense, Industrial, Mining and Oil & Gas industries. Commencing immediately and based at their Henderson workshop, they are seeking various highly-skilled team members to assist with a Marine/Defense project.

This project is expected to last for 4 weeks with possibility of future work for high performing employees. There are current vacancies for Confined Space Fire Sentries, Coded Welders and Boilermakers.

Applicants must be self-motivated, have high enthusiasm and above all a high commitment to HSE in the workplace. Experience within the marine industry would be highly regarded.

Fire Sentry, your duties will include:

  • Acting as Fire Sentry to Boilermakers and associated Trades
  • Assisting Trades as required
  • Confined Space work

To be considered, you must have:

  • Confined Space Ticket that has been completed within the last TWO years
  • Construction White Card “Confine Small Workplace Emergencies” or “Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment” certificate
  • High attention to detail
  • Recent experience in a similar role
  • WA C Class Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test

Boilermaker/Coded Welder, scope of work will include:

  • Structural, Pipe, Plate & Fabrication
  • Stainless steel, mild steel, carbon steel, copper & Nickel
  • Welding Codes – up to 6G
  • Welding Processes – FCAW, GMAW, MIG, TIG, GTAW

To be considered, you must have:

  • Relevant Australian Trade Qualification/Certification
  • Construction White Card
  • Recent experience in a similar role
  • WA C Class Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
