Field Service HD Plant Mechanic WA

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is part of a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.

HCA has an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team at the Kalgoorlie Branch as a Field Service Technician (HD Diesel Fitter / Mechanic).

About the Role:

Working in and around the Kalgoorlie area, you will be primarily responsible for the repairing and maintenance and servicing on all of the mobile plant earthmoving & construction equipment. You will also be responsible for diagnostic work for machines and working together with technical support staff to reach operational objectives.

You will need to ensure that you provide 100% Customer satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders, branches & suppliers within the HCA family.

All Candidates must have:

• You will hold a Relevant Trade Certificate – Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter Earthmoving/Heavy Transport)
• Experience, knowledge & understanding of Hitachi civil & mining equipment
• Must be able to demonstrate the highest level of Safety and work ethic to the ability to work autonomously within remote areas.
• Computer Literate and have the highest level of communication skills, verbally and written.
• Experience within a similar role in mining, shut downs, field Service, construction or other related fields
