Project Engineer – Earthworks
Randstad have been engaged to source an experienced Project Engineer for one of there rapidly growing clients in QLD and NSW, they are a national contractor who have a strong presence in the resources sector across Australia.
This project is working on Bulk Earthworks on a new CHPP project in mid NSW, the job will run on a FIFO 2:1 roster (fly one your time and one company time)
The contract is for the plant site bulk earthworks, construction of the ROM wall, roads, drainage, and buried services, together with the detailed earthworks and construction of 7,000m3 of structural concrete.
The engineer will mainly be searching after the bulk earthworks. There is also a 15% uplift on offer.
Reporting to the Project Manager your duties will include but not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Management
- Planning/Programming of works
- Timely reporting and tracking of progress
- Liaise and coordinate with the site team
Skills and Experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- 5 + years experience in civil engineering
- Experience with bulk earthworks
- Strong and clear communication skills and proven ability to engage others
