They pride there selves on providing a professional, down to earth approach to everything earthworks, ensuring that the clients are provided with real service and support, for exceptional results.
The opportunity for qualified and experienced Machine Operators to join the team is currently available for FIFO work at an industry leading open cut coal mine in Blackwater. they are searching for professionals.
All candidates must have the following:
- RII competencies for safe operation of a Scraper
- A Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations (Standard 11 Induction Training)
- Previous experience within the mining industry, and FIFO work
- A strong safety ethos, customer service focus, and passion for mining operations
- Availability for an immediate start preferred
Successful applicants will benefit:
- 10 day on, 4 day off FIFO roster from Brisbane
- roster of 10.5 hour days each shift
- site with full accommodation and meals provided
- remuneration of $44 per hour plus super
Please note that a Coal Board Medical Assessment will need to be undertaken as part of on boarding, as well as site specific training.

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
