Expression of Interest Drill Fitters Mining Maintenance
They are Looking for Experienced Drill Fitters for there client based in Mackay. Reporting to the Drill Rig Supervisor you will look after Repair and maintenance of heavy mining equipment
Pay rates are negotiable based on experience
To be considered you must:
- Have a Relevant Trade Certificate
- Be available for an immediate start
- Have a Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
- Standard 11 *Standard 11 Training* or willingness to obtain
- C Class Driver License
- Previous experience working on open cut drill & blast rigs
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Be safety and QA driven and compliant

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
