Experience Riggers Cranes BMC Coal Mining Sites QLD

Riggers Moranbah & Dysart Depots and BMA, BMC Sites Qld

Individuals that are wishing to hear from will have demonstrated experience Rigging with All Terrain Slewing Cranes such as Liebherr, Tadano or Groves and crawler cranes and have the ability to be flexible within the workplace.

Essential Criteria for the above rates are:

  • Current Coal Board Medical (including ILO Chest xray)
  • Current Standard 11 Induction Training – Statement of Attainment
  • Current Rigger Ticket
  • BMA core induction
  • BMA site inductions (for Bowen Basin Sites)
  • BMA Card and/or able to provide SC ID number
  • Current Drivers License
  • Current Working at Heights (desirable)

These positions are DIDO only and applicant must be able to provide documentation of all above criteria.

About the Bowen Basin

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
