You will form part of and contribute to the Mine Operations Department, reporting to the production superintendent, you will operate and have experience operating Excavator Hitachi EX5500, EX5600.

This is a drive in drive out (DIDO) role for an open cut coal mine in the Banana Shire, situated 1 hour 30minutes from Gladstone.

This is a residential position but Housing Assistance is available on affordable fully furnished/self-contained units through the local real estate.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate Excavator Hitachi EX3600, EX5500, EX5600
  • Work Lifestyle roster (4/5, 5/4, 5/5) including PJ Day
  • DIDO Role
  • 12.5 Hour Shifts

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 12 months experience operating Excavator Hitachi EX5500, EX5600
  • MUST Have SSE/Delegate Signed Skills List or Unsigned Skills List
  • Current Drivers License
  • Current Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain
  • Current Standard 11 Induction Training or willing to obtain
