Excavator Operator Plant Operating in QLD Electrical

DJK Electrical Services is a successful and growing QLD electrical company who specialize in infrastructure projects and general electrical contracting within the construction and service industries throughout Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland. They are currently have an opportunity for an experienced Excavator Operator to join friendly, busy team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As excavator operator you will work within company policies and strict safety guidelines, to assist us in delivering high quality electrical infrastructure works on a daily basis. All works are to be completed in compliance with industry legislation, company processes and procedures.

Successful applicants for this role MUST have:

• Applicable Plant Operating Tickets and Licenses
• Energex CAMS
• Civil underground construction experience
• Cable Hauling experience
• Pit & Pipe Installation experience
• Construction Industry Card
• Truck License HR or HC
• Safety Focus

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. You must be safety and process focused ensuring a high quality of output at all times. You will be self motivated and hardworking, with a strong work ethic. With great interpersonal skills you will work well independently and/or as part of a team and display a positive attitude at all times.

As a small business with a strong focus on safety and quality it is expected that all employees display leadership in all areas of safety and quality throughout the company and have a thorough knowledge of industry legislation and requirements.
