  • $48.92 – $52.07 p/h + Super paid on all hrs worked

Excavator Coal Mining Jobs Operator <strong>Bowen Basin</strong> QLD

Experienced excavator operators are required for positions within the Bowen Basin on a 7:7 day/night roster.

The client is Australia’s largest coal producer and exporter with several mine sites located across the Bowen Basin in Queensland. The client currently has vacancies available for experienced excavator operators to work on a 7:7 roster.

Your new role

This role will require people with the ability to work within the pre-strip department operating excavators and various other heavy machinery in an open cut mining environment.

To be a suitable applicant for this position you will require:

  • Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11 Induction Training
  • Drivers License
  • Mandatory Excavator Ticket- Hitachi 3600, 5600 or 8000 / O&K 170 or 340 / CAT 6040 or 6060.
  • Desirable experience operating CAT trucks (789’s or 793’s), Dozers (D10 or D11), Graders (16 or 24 M/H)

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
