Electrical Mining Mechanical Technician
Electrical Mining Mechanical Technician Maintenance WA
Reporting to the Supervisor – Electrical, this role is on a FIFO 8 days on, 6 days off roster. You will provide an Electrical service to all production areas in the Telfer Utilities area.
Key responsibilities include the provision of technical support in all aspects of electrical maintenance, with a heavy emphasis on, but not limited to, maintaining high voltage power distribution & reticulation systems, bore fields and pit water pumping systems and storage facilities, power generation plant and ancillary electrical equipment.

Electrical Mining Mechanical Technician Maintenance WA
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrician and possess previous trade experience with exposure to large scale mining and process plant operations and maintenance. You will have the ability to multi task and work effectively within a high-pressure environment.
Strong ability to accept change, develop new skills and competencies; and meet the following criteria:
- WA Trade qualification with an Electrical Mechanical & Fitting trade
- Experience in overhead power line construction & maintenance
- HV switching program writing experience is a must.
- Power generation operation & maintenance.
- Bore field maintenance will be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZ3000, MSIR & relevant acts & regs.
- Good record keeping with regards to statutory testing.
- Excellent safety culture ambassador.
