Currently they require a highly skilled Maintenance Planner in Maintenance Department who possesses the drive and passion to develop a culture focused on safety and efficiency that will deliver a high availability and reliability to their Field Equipment Fleet.

Reporting through to the Maintenance Superintendent (Electrical), You will provide effective planning of tasks and equipment to ensure that Electrical maintenance planning contributes to the Maintenance Departments reaching their goals and targets. This will be achieved through building and maintaining cooperative relationships with supervisors, identifying and planning for potential issues and running analysis of Electrical maintenance to identify potential improvements.

Your ability to manage planned shutdowns and understanding of contractor management and maintenance planning will be critical to the success of this role. A commitment to Zero Harm, managing maintenance costs and workplace efficiency will be the key to your success, you will also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience using CMMS systems (ie. Ellipse).

To be successful in the role you will possess:

• Electrical engineering degree or relevant trade qualifications
• Electrical Technician/Auto Electrician
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant planning experience on a mine site is preferred, along with experience and understanding of Shovels
• Excavators, and Draglines will be advantageous but not absolutely necessary for the role.

This is a permanent full time position and is based in Moura.
