Dump truck operator Mining Multiple sites Perth WA

This position gives you the opportunity to work with an established mining company. This company has grown from strength to strength with multiple sites across WA. Due to a high work load, they are in need of assistance within their production team.

Your new role

You will be working a 2/1 roster consisting of days and nights. This particular site is located far north east of Perth however there are multiple sites and positions available. Duties will include operating the dump trucks in a production mining environment within an experienced team. Your job will consist of long hours operating CAT 777 dump trucks, maintenance reporting and hazard identification. The role will be a minimum of three months with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.

      The Caterpillar 777 is a 100-ton haul truck, typically used in open pit mining, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. The first model of Caterpillar 777 was introduced in 1974. Its diesel engine is capable of putting out 870 horsepower. The 777D, introduced in 1996, was powered by a 938-horsepower diesel.

      This truck is one of the entry-level haul trucks most new operators will learn on. Once competent, they will move up to the larger 785, especially when working on a coal mining site.
