Dump Truck Operator Jobs Perth FIFO
CoreStaff are recruiting experienced Dump Truck Operators on a family friendly 2/2 roster. If you’re handy on CAT 789/793/797, Hitachi 5000, Komatsu 730/830/930E or Terex MT4400/5500/6300 be sure to send over a resume ASAP!
These roles are FIFO Perth only. Candidates must be based in Western Australia and you will be required to provide proof of address as part of the the application process.
Roles are available both immediately, and in the future to suit the needs of both yourself and the client. These are ongoing contractor roles.
Unfortunately these roles are not geared towards those searching for entry into the industry.
Experience in Production Mining on the following trucks is essential to be considered for these roles.
- CAT 789/793/797
- Hitachi 5000
- Komatsu electric – 730/830/930E
- Terex MT4400 /5500/6300
About this mining operator role:
- Proven experience as a Production Dump Truck Operator
- Proof of Western Australia residency
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Police Clearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks including medical and drug screening
- Ability to provide 2 references relating to your Dump Truck skills and experience.

The 793F has a load cpacityof 226.8 ton (US) and a top speed of 60 kilometres an hour. It's a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine that has enhanced power management capability for maximum hauling performance. The C175-16 is a 16-cylinder, four-stroke design that uses long, effective power strokes for optimum efficiency.

Caterpillar Haul truck 789
The Caterpillar 789 dump truck is typically used in open pit mining. The 789 has a capacity of 177 tonnes, and its engine can produce 1770 horsepower.
There are hundreds of CAT 789 dump trucks on various mine sites in Australia; working hard in open-cut coal mines as well as hauling raw iron ore dirt across the open, dusty mine sites of Western Australia.

Komatsu 830E Haul Truck
The Komatsu 830E is an ultra class dump truck used in Australian open pit mining operations an is designed and built in Peoria, Illinois by Komatsu America Corporation (parent company is the Japanese held company Komatsu Ltd.
The Komatsu 830E is a beast, with 231,000 kilogram capacity (255 short tons). Although this is a big truck, the 830E's load capacity is about 66% the capacity of the Liebherr T 282C and Caterpillar 797B.This is an electric truck and is being featured in many new mining operations as well established mines in WA and QLD.
The electric drive system is very different fromt the transmission/differential drive of traditional trucks. The diesel engine is connected to a GE traction alternator with high voltage cables transfering electricity to the two wheel motors at the rear of the truck.
