Dump Truck Moxy (Articulated) Operator
PROTECH are currently recruiting for an experienced Haul Truck (rigid dumpy) Operators and Moxy (Articulated) Operators to join client’s team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for routine pre-start procedures, maintenance tasks and responsible for the presentation and appearance of the plant under their operation.
The positions are located in the southern suburbs of Logan at various new subdivision sites.
To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
- Experienced in operating the above equipment
- Must have current RII for Haul Truck and Dump Truck
- MUST BE AVAIL TO START ASAP
- Drivers Licence and own transport
- Hardworking, reliable, presentable and punctual
- Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
- Pass a DRUG AND ALCOHOL test

The Caterpillar 785 Haul Truck, Dump Truck or off-road truck as they are called in the U.S. are still used across the world in open-cut mining operations. This huge truck has proven it’s worth for many years and has often been the entry-level truck for new operators.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
