WorkPac currently have a number of opportunities for experienced Truck and Multi Skilled Operators to commence work in the first week of the New Year. You will form part of and contribute to the Mine Operations of a Bowen Basin Mine, near Collinsville.

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

To be successful in these roles you will have the following:

1. Minimum 2 years exp on Truck (CAT 789)

  • Engine Model 3516C – HD
  • Gross Power – SAE J1995 1566.0 kW
  • Gross Machine Operating Weight (GMW) 324319.0 kg
  • Nominal Payload Capacity 181.0 tonnes

Experienced hydraulic fitters

2. Current Standard 11 *Standard 11 Training*
3. Current Coal Board Medical
4. Current Driver’s License

5. Proof of Rights to work in Australia (birth certificate + ID or Passport)

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
