“If you are looking to drive a dump truck, there is still a high demand in the mining, resource and civil sites and the opportunities for rewarding employment look extremely promising in 2013.”

When choosing people to drive a dump truck, mining employers focus on four main areas.

  • Your safety knowledge

  • How much realistic training you’ve had

  • Your attitude towards the job

  • Your experience with working in a team

The better the hands-on dump truck driver training you have, the better chance you of scoring one of theses highly sought-after positions.

The course is run on a simulated mine site (with a current mining lease in place) where you will interact with excavators, water trucks, light vehicles and other machinery and face the everyday hazards you’ll encounter when you get on-site.

We partner with Industry Pathways who have designed their dump truck course after a lot of meetings with mining, resource and energy employers. This comprehensive dump truck driver training course will teach you the valuable skills mining companies are looking for.

The course is nationally recognised so you will be able to apply for jobs as a dump truck driver in every State in Australia and you’ll have an industry recognised certification to work within the coal and metaliferous sector as well as in quarrying, which opens up a whole lot more job opportunities for you.
