An opportunity exists for Experienced Drillers. This position is an immediate start for an ongoing role in an open cut coal mine which is ramping up production.
Located in the Banana Shire, situated only 2 hours South West from Rockhampton and 7 hours North West from Brisbane.
• 7/7 Roster
• Camp and Meals Provided OR Rental Subsidy Moura Rentals
• DIDO Role
• Ongoing Role for Immediate Start
• Super paid on all hours worked
• Current Standard 11 *Standard 11 Training* or willing to obtain
• Current Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain
• Current Driver Licence
• A willingness to work rotating roster
• Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen. The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
