Diesel/Plant Technician – Lube Truck Operator

Hi-Quality Group, a highly reputable privately owned Australian family company, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Diesel/Plant Technician – Lube Truck Operator to join their workshop based at Kemps Creek.

The company specializes in quarry operations, resource recycling, landfills and transport and logistics with operations across NSW and in Victoria. They have been established for over 50 years and are currently going through a phase of expansion.

Diesel Plant Technician Lube Truck Operator NSW

Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Carrying out high quality servicing, routine inspections and minor repairs
  • Lubrication of trucks, equipment and machinery
  • Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively

As a representative of the company, you will be the company’s eyes and ears and be able to spot and report on emerging problems with the machines you attend for preventative maintenance servicing. This position offers the opportunity to join an interesting part of the business, gain exposure to a variety of equipment, work with a dedicated team and use your initiative and motivation to provide exceptional service in the field.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

  • A strong service background with proven experience
  • Current Australian MR drivers license
  • Trade Qualified
  • Experience in dealing with diagnosis, servicing and repairs of CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO and HYUNDAI
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Self motivated and team orientated
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised with a track record of working safely

Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a commitment to a culture that values and implements sound health and safety practices. You must apply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environment.
