Diesel Fitters Job – Heavy Truck Maintenance

The client is a leading manufacturer of municipal vehicles for cleaning and clearing operations on public and private roads and other traffic areas. These range from sweepers, sewer cleaning equipment, winter maintenance and vehicles for refuse collection.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, they require several experienced Diesel Fitters for several temp to perm positions, based on the North-side of Brisbane.

Successful candidates will require a Diesel Fitting trade qualification as well as relevant experience working on different types of trucks i.e. sweepers, tipper trucks, clean away trucks. This is a great opportunity to gain ongoing work within a reputable supplier of municipal vehicles.

Position Requirements

• Trade Qualification – Diesel Fitting
• Available for immediate start
• Experience with Gear box assembly and servicing.
• Experience working on Braking systems, Hydraulics and Heavy Truck Maintenance
• Relevant experience working on different types of trucks – sweepers, tipper trucks etc
• Own Car and License
• Own Tools
• Physically Fit and able
• Full PPE
• Current Resume with two contactable work references
• Construction White Card/Blue Card
