Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Serviceman / Trades Assistant

Emerald based company and an opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Diesel Fitter/Plant Mechanic and/or Serviceman/Trades Assistant with heavy earthmoving experience to join Open Cut operations just a short distance from town.

For your involvement in servicing, repairing and attention to detail while maintaining our fleet of Cat and Komatsu equipment you will be well rewarded and offer the successful candidate the following,

  • A permanent long term position
  • Competitive wages
  • Roster of 7 days on, 7 days off

To be successful for this outstanding opportunity:

  • Be suitably trade qualified as a heavy machinery or diesel fitter – or Serviceman/Trades Assistant experience
  • Can demonstrate at least three years post trade experience
  • The ability to diagnose faults and make repairs
  • Communicate openly and freely
  • Enjoy a great team atmosphere
  • Strive to work in a OH&S system
  • You must have/be able to obtain a Standard 11 Induction Training and Coal Board Medical.
