Crushing Plant Site Manager – Brisbane Jobs

The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction and demolition materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. They operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 260 people. This role is based at Archerfield in Brisbane.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 15 across all site operations including the fixed concrete crushing plant, contract mobile rock crushing, weighbridge, pugmill and laboratory. Your equipment fleet comprises 3 large wheel loaders, 1 x 40t excavator, a skid steer loader, EWP and a water truck.

They will look to you to set high standards for safety, production efficiency, preventative maintenance and customer service.

You will be responsible for:

The efficient running of the site and crushing operations
Monitoring material quality to specification
Scheduling maintenance and managing contractors
Leading and motivating the team
Continuous production improvement.

You must have significant supervisory or quarry management experience with hard rock quarries or concrete crushing. You will be comfortable with production scheduling, maintenance planning and monthly reporting. Your hard work will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package over $100k with a fully maintained company vehicle.
