Black Wolf Field Services are seeking the right people for Coal Mine Operator jobs across the Bowen Basin, Queensland. Mackay and Coalfields.
Successful applicants will be trained in the operations of Haul Trucks (CAT and/or Komatsu) and preferably have prior experience in Coal Mining.
To be considered, applicants will:
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence
- Have the ability to undertake 12.00 hour shifts (including night shift)
- Possess a Standard 11 *Standard 11 Training* Statement of Attainment
- Possess a current Coal Board Medical
- Have the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
- Have RII's [...Learn about RII's] Competencies relevant to mine site operations or equipment
- Have other Coal Industry Qualifications

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen. The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
