Store person/ Trade Assistant CHPP

Client, a well-established mining contractor with a number of projects nationwide has an opportunity for an experienced Storeperson to come on board.

Coal Handling Plant Preparation Trade Assistant Mine Coalfields

About the Role:

Looking for someone that lives within a two hour radius of the Dysart Region. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the CHPP Stores Department with day to day activities ranging from the dispatching/receiving of parts and components, assisting tradesman with services & general workshop duties, packing/unpacking orders to operating the forklift within the workshop and storage facility.

Duties:

  • Loading and unloading freight
  • Receipting of stock
  • Stocktake
  • TA to Tradesman

Skills & Experience:

  • High Risk Forklift License essential
  • Current Standard 11 Induction Training
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is vital
  • Certificate 3 – Warehousing (Preferred)
  • Storeperson or Trades Assistant experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Mine site experience favourable
