CHPP Electrician & Fitter Jobs Mackay
CHPP are scouting for experienced CHPP Electricians and Mechanical Fitters to commence ASAP. These positions are based within the Bowen Basin area on a DIDO basis only, 7/7 roster.
To be considered for these positions you MUST have the following requirements:
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Experience working in a CHPP Mining environment
- Current drivers licence
- Current Coalboard medical
- Standard 11 Induction Training
- Commitment to Safety with a proactive approach to your work
- Time management and self-motivation
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
