About the role:

They are currently seeking a CHPP Electrical Co-Ordinator to join their Coppabella Mine. Their Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets.

As the CHPP Electrical Coordinator, you will report to the CHPP Superintendent and be responsible for all scoping execution and reporting of electrical maintenance and engineering project work at Coppabella CHPP. You will work with key stakeholders and team members to achieve targeted plant reliability, availability and statutory compliance along with: Create, coordinate and close out work orders in accordance to legislative requirements Coordinate and liaise with production team, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure availability, requirements, and technical direction of electrical maintenance tasks are fulfilled and work orders are completed.

Maintain and schedule work orders in due regard to priority indicated and provide regular reports showing compliance with schedules Develop and implement a maintenance budget and strategy, for all CHPP electrical equipment Low and high voltage installations Project Management of installations, including electrical design, change management, installations and commissioning Maintenance of, telemetry, fiber optic networks and CCTV Achieve plant reliability and availability expectations and production targets Ensure compliance with safety standards (including the Electrical Engineering Management Plan) and operating cost budget for CHPP maintenance Review actual versus estimated labour and materials expended on work orders in order to improve the accuracy of planning Other duties as required from time to time by the CHPP Superintendent.

The lifestyle:

This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with 1 rostered Friday off per fortnight and can allow for a residential, DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.

About You:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a high level understanding of CHPP
• Operations Experience using SAP or similar CMMS for maintenance planning and procurement
• Possess well-developed communication, negotiating and influencing skills and confidence in your knowledge of work management processes
• Electrical qualification required – EEM ticket preferred but not essential

You will possess a “can do” attitude and have a strong commitment to safety.
