WorkPac are searching to recruit Dozer Operators that can operate D11R & D11T CAT Dozers for work based in the Mackay & Coalfields region.
- Rotating Lifestyle Roster – 5/4/4/5
- Camp and Meals Provided
- BIBO camp to site
About the Role:
Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Coal Processing Dozer Operators to work within the CHPP.
An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 6 months mine experience
- Minimum D11R, D11T CAT Dozer
- Current Standard 11 Induction Training or BMA Core Induction
- Coal Board Medical or Willing to Obtain
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Must Have Signed SSE/Delegate Skills List or Unsigned Supported by RII
- Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment
- Sound Work History

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
