CAT 980M Loader Jobs QLD
Start ASAP, Camp + Meals Provided
WorkPac have job openings for experienced CAT 980M Loader Operators. This is an ongoing position located in Central Queensland, near Rollestone.
To be considered for a role applicants must have:
- Demonstrated experience operating CAT 980M or equivalent loaders.
- Strong experience loading trucks
- Current (within 5 years) RII Loader ticket or a Mine Skill Transcript
- Current Standard 11 Induction Training Statement of Attainment
- Section 4 Coal Board Medical
- Drivers Licence
Desirable/Advantageous but not essential for the roles:
- Preferably live within the Central Queensland area
- Mine Experience
The Role:
- 9 Day Fortnight – 5 Days on 4 Nights
- Shift length 12.5 hrs
- Start ASAP
- Camp and Meals Supplied
- On going role
- Option to go Permanent after three months

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
