Experienced CAT 785 operators needed urgently to work in an Open Cut Coal Mine based near Biloela, Bowen Basin, Mackay & Coalfields area.

The successful candidates must have the following in order to be considered for the CAT 785 operator job;
> Current Coal Board Medical
> Current Standard 11 Induction Training/Generic Induction
> Current Site Skills List for machinery operated – signed by SSE or delegate
> Must hold at least 785 Dump Truck skill. Another skill is desired.

You will be working a lifestyle roster and NO CAMP is available. Applicants are required to be local to the Biloela (DIDO) area or be willing to supply their own accommodation.
Housing assistance is available.

      The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

      The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.

      The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
