Casual Quarry Worker Tumbulgum Site New South Wales

The role

Quarry workers are multi skilled and operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant including loaders, excavators, graders, dump trucks, crushers, screens and conveyors.

As well as utilizing your existing skills, you will learn new skills as part of our ongoing commitment to training, be exposed to the construction materials industry and the opportunity to grow with the business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment
  • Undertake housekeeping, cleaning, basic maintenance and general labouring duties

What you will need to succeed

  • Strong work history that will be confirmed by your referees
  • Demonstrated experience in operating mobile and fixed plant and/or heavy equipment
  • Current driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Experience in quarrying or mining operations (preferred but not essential)
  • Loader operator ticket (preferred)
