The new Careers in gas website will assist job seekers to find gas jobs.
A new website has been set up by a few large companies to help Queenslanders find work in the booming gas industry.
The Careers in Gas website was launched at an international gas conference in Brisbane on Thursday.
Mining Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said the site was a joint initiative of some of the major liquefied natural gas (LNG) companies in Queensland.
Three major gas projects are currently under construction and a fourth is planned in Queensland.
Curtis Island CSG conversion
The projects will harvest coal seam gas from central Queensland and pipe it to Curtis Island, off Gladstone, where it will be converted into LNG for export.
Energy Skills Queensland chief executive Glenn Porter said the projects would require vast workforces in both the construction and operational phases.
