Prime Recruitment’s Industrial and Trades and Services Division specialist in providing labor solutions to the resources and fabrication/engineering industry in Western Australia.
Seeking applications from BHP Inducted Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and TA’s for scheduled rolling shutdowns. Next Shutdown 28/05 to the 3/06/17.

About the role:
Prime Recruitment is pleased to announce we have been selected as one of several vendors in the supply of shutdown personnel for a multinational infrastructure company with scheduled shutdowns on various BHP Sites across the Pilbara Region in Western Australia with ongoing shutdowns through to December 2017.
Successful applicant’s will have the following:
Boilermakers must have an Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
Mechanical Fitter’s must also have an Australian Recognized Trade Cert (Automotive trades accepted if you have the relevant experience)
It is mandatory all candidates possess the following tickets:
A current driver’s license
Confined Space Ticket
Working at Heights Ticket
Fire Fighting/Extinguisher Ticket
Gas test atmospheres
Desired but not essential tickets include:
High Risk Work License
MSIC (for work on BHP Ports would be highly regarded)
Desired skills and experience:
Our Ideal candidate’s will have 1 – 2 years plus Shutdown experience doing Fixed Plant maintenance work on the following namely; Conveyors, Chutes, Gearbox’s, Screens, Hoppers, Crushers and other associated fixed plant equipment.
All candidates must have an excellent attitude toward’s safety
All candidates must also possess relevant tools of trade
Medical and Drug and Alcohol’s:
All Candidates must have the capacity to pass Pre-Employment Medical Screening including Drug and Alcohol testing.

The 793F has a load cpacityof 226.8 ton (US) and a top speed of 60 kilometres an hour. It's a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine that has enhanced power management capability for maximum hauling performance. The C175-16 is a 16-cylinder, four-stroke design that uses long, effective power strokes for optimum efficiency.
